Alamo West Coast Swing Club (AWCSC) was formed by a group of folks who are crazy about west coast swing (WCS) and want to promote this dance and other social dances in San Antonio and the surrounding counties. Our Club offers great music, wood floor, dance lessons for the beginner to the advanced, rotating guest instructors who are champions on the WCS dance circuit. Currently the Club has two regular dance events: 1. Monthly dance parties/workshops the second Saturday of each month at the Ballroom Dance Academy. 7:30 - 11:00 PM. Next dance: Aug. 14th. Dance Instructor: Dan Darlington Costs vary for member or non-member. 2. Weekly dances on Tuesdays at the Calle Ocho dance studio 416 8th Street, San Antonio, TX 78215 7:00 - 10 PM Cost - $5.00 Dancers of all levels are welcome: Members and non members.
